這篇《歸去來辭》寫于延祐五年（1318），此時(shí)的趙孟頫已是六十五歲，身體狀況已不如前，但趙孟頫對(duì)書法的探索卻沒有停滯。不僅將已達(dá)到爐火純青境界的行書向挺拔剛健的方向轉(zhuǎn)變，尤其在挺拔中仍見婀娜風(fēng)姿，真可以說是將各家之長熔于一爐，將個(gè)人風(fēng)格提高到了新的高度。
